Scarecrow and Logan are, of course, both 100% correct.

I mentioned in the dooblydoo of an earlier post that the cardinal directions of Oz were printed in reverse, with east on the left and west on the right. There's some dispute in the Oz fandom as to whether this was an error or if the compass directions in Oz are literally mirrored. I'm on team "literally mirrored" because that's more fun.
